How Acupuncture Works:

Acupuncturists at Directions Physical Therapy & Acupuncture holistically assess you based on observations and clinical examination, such as your medical history, pulses at 6 different locations at your lower arms (three points on each side), color and shape of your tongue, as well as inquiries such as your diet, sleep patterns, digestion, and more.  After comprehensive assessments, therapists inserts fine, sterile needles into the specific points called acupoints to improve the functions of the body which promotes the ability we all have to heal our own body. In addition to needling, moxibustion, cupping, massage or tsuina, may be used to maximize treatment effects.
